The Friendly Bible Institute is the teaching arm of The Friendly Church, dedicated to equipping believers with a strong foundation in the Word of God. Through Bible-based courses, practical discipleship, and Spirit-led instruction, the Institute empowers individuals to grow in faith, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.

Our Spiritual Objectives:

The Friendly Bible Institute (FBI) is committed to transforming God-given vision into spiritual maturity and ministerial effectiveness through sound, Christ-centered education. We believe that biblical training equips believers to walk confidently in their calling and to serve with excellence, integrity, and power. As Scripture declares, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6, KJV).

FBI exists to cultivate disciplined, knowledgeable, and Spirit-led servants who are prepared for service in ministry and leadership within the Body of Christ. We affirm that divine calling is accompanied by divine responsibility. Jesus Himself said, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain” (John 15:16, KJV). Therefore, FBI is committed to developing believers whose lives and ministries produce lasting spiritual fruit, grounded in love, obedience, and sound doctrine (John 15:17).

The Institute is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in teaching, learning, and ministerial preparation. We believe that continual growth is essential for every minister and believer, as “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV). Through structured coursework and spiritual formation, FBI seeks to strengthen personal ministries and sharpen the callings God has placed within His people.

It is our conviction that every minister—regardless of educational background, life stage, or geographical location—should have equal access to quality biblical education. In keeping with the Great Commission, FBI is committed to teaching and training those who dedicate themselves to the process of making disciples of Jesus Christ through education, obedience, and faithful stewardship of God’s Word (Matthew 28:19–20; 1 Corinthians 4:1–2).

Our Statement of Doctrine:

We Believe:

1. The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible, consisting of all the books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is a supernatural revelation from God, without error in its original writings, fully trustworthy in matters of faith, doctrine, moral instruction, and spiritual truth, and an accurate record of God’s redemptive work in history.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16, KJV; 2 Peter 1:20–21).

2. The Godhead (The Trinity)
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one in essence, power, and glory, yet distinct in personality and function.
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (1 John 5:7, KJV; Matthew 28:19).

3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, divine miracles, substitutionary and atoning death through the shedding of His blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal, visible return in power and great glory.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1, KJV; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11).

4. Humanity and Salvation
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but through temptation and disobedience fell into sin, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God. Because of the sinfulness of human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation, which is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23, KJV; Genesis 1:26–27; John 3:3; Ephesians 2:8–9).

5. The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead, eternally God, who was active throughout all ages and took up His abiding ministry in the world in a special way on the Day of Pentecost. He dwells in every believer, empowering, sanctifying, guiding, and equipping them for godly living and effective ministry. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit are visible and ongoing demonstrations of His presence and work in the lives of believers.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” (Acts 1:8, KJV; Acts 2:4; Galatians 5:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11).

6. Resurrection and Eternal Judgment
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind: the saved unto the resurrection of life and eternal fellowship with God, and the unsaved unto the resurrection of judgment and eternal separation from God.
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2, KJV; John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15).

7. The Church and the Great Commission
We believe that God’s plan for this present age is fulfilled through the Church, the Body of Christ. Every believer is called to be a witness of Jesus Christ, participating in the evangelization of the world and the making of disciples through the teaching and proclamation of God’s Word, primarily within the context of the local church.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19–20, KJV; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:11–13).

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
